Getting the kids excited about a trip to Texas instead of the beach last summer wasn’t easy but tacos were a big part of my pitch to them. While we didn’t end up eating nearly as many tacos as I thought we might, we did thoroughly enjoy our trip to Veracruz All Natural. Founded by the Vasquez sisters, these amazing food trucks (now with a brick and mortar location!) serve authentic Mexican food in many locations around Austin. I would surely become a regular if I lived in the area!

What better way to add atmosphere to the food truck experience than add straw umbrellas to the seating area? Loved it instantly.

We didn’t quite know what we were doing when ordering, and made the mistake of ordering only one taco each. So you are prepared and don’t make the same mistake, go ahead and order two or three at a time the first time around so you don’t have to be the weird family making a revolving door effect at the ordering window.

Seriously, how awesome is this set up?

A bus full of vegetables on their way to becoming tacos, juices, and more. Favorite.

Maybe also order more than one cup of guac if your children are also little guac fiends.

My first delicious but lonely migas breakfast taco. Don’t worry, I supplemented with more.

The agua fresca was actually one of our favorite parts of this place. Just thinking about it now makes me want to go back and try all of the flavors.
