There just aren’t enough milkshakes in my world, as far as I’m concerned.  It’s not that I don’t like them of course.  On the contrary, I loove them.  It just rarely occurs to me to make them.  A month or so ago, we were hanging out at home on a low-key weekend evening when suddenly I had the idea to make strawberry milkshakes for dessert.  Such a simple makeover of his usual favorite strawberry ice cream and I was instantly the coolest mom ever in Andrew’s eyes.  Milkshakes are definitely that much sweeter when shared with giggling little ones, and simple enough for a spur-of-the-moment treat.  Happy Friday!
