A reminder to those feeling dark on a dark day. Let your light shine on and, in the words of a favorite yoga teacher, inspire those around you to shine a little brighter.

Thanks for this! Dense fog in KC seems appropriate for today.

  • Angela

    Thank you.

  • Annie Danko Amos

  • Sara Mihaly

    Much needed, Thank you!

Amen, sister. As Mother Theresa reminded us, we must remember we belong to each other.

A good day for self reflection! Re-evaluating the time our family devotes to service in our community (not enough) as well as my ideas about how I interact with that community. Apparently I am not as ‘diverse’ as I thought if I can’t think of a single person I know who voted for the President :)

  • Thank you for not being afraid to speak out. I will be marchiing here in DC tomorrow, hoping to bring a little light back.

  • Annie

Thank you Julie! I will be marching here in Indy. I wanted to go to D.C. so badly but decided to donate the cost of airfare to various “be the light” organizations instead.

The light in me sees and honors that same light in you. My absolute favorite way to end a yoga class. Stay nasty!!!

  • Tracey

Thank you. We all need to shine a little brighter and encourage each other.

  • Susanne

Thank you Annie! So much more positive than dressing in black like I did today.

  • Lindsay

  • Melissa Brooker

Thank YOU for always inspiring me to shine brighter!

Trying very hard to radiate positive vibes. My son and I started a kindness journal this year and are working on kindness projects (little things we can do to spread cheer to others).

  • Faith Heitman

    Perfect timing.

You are always a light to me, Annie. I was out there in Portland marching and I saw your photos on Instagram. Today I’m filled with hope with what we can accomplish when we come together.

  • Grace

Loved your pictures from the Indy march! I was at the Philadelphia one! I found it to be a very empowering, positive experience.
